The Berrics
The Berrics is a private indoor skatepark owned by professional skateboarders Steve Berra and Eric Koston. It is also a website providing content filmed in the skatepark, as well as other skateboard-related media. The facility's name is a portmanteau of the owners' names (the "Ber" of Berra's surname and the "ric" of Koston's first name).
This is where I spent my formative years as a designer; running the gamut from web, apparel, social design along with content management, content curation, motion and video. It was truly an all-hands on deck experience with a tight-knit crew creating daily content from 2010-2013.
The Berrics
The purpose of the United Nations is to develop friendly relations between the Berrics and skateboard companies based on respect for the principle of equal rights and self determination of our fellow skaters, and to take other appropriate measures to strengthen and promote not just a peaceful and united skateboard community but the products of all who enter into this pact. In pursuit of this purpose, the organization has officially made The Berrics Canteen the eleventh member.
