In 2018, Aaron Judge graced the cover of MLB The Show as a the season’s most talked about rookie phenom. His literal larger-than-life stature was a no-brainer to grace the ‘18 cover. The season’s key art was designed to feel big and epic and position Judge as the game’s ‘hero’ while also competing with other triple-A games on shelves, beyond just sports games.
The Future Is Coming
We released a “cover announce” video using b-roll from the cover shoot. It dropped during Monday Night Football on ESPN which paralleled the MLB pennant race. Judge also appeared on Scott Van Pelt immediately after to promote the game.
